Foba Y-Series of fibre laser markers now available from TLM

The Foba Y-Series of ytterbium (Yb) fibre laser marking machines has been designed to suit metal and plastic workpieces, and machines in it feature newly developed scan head technology with built-in vision system for in-process imaging. This serves to combine validation and verification prior to and directly after laser marking in a holistic marking process.

The modular design of the Y-Series helps simplify system integration, as it includes nine different Yb fibre laser sources that are identical in construction (spanning power of 2 to 50 W and pulse width of 1.5 to 200 ns), along with two continuous wave lasers, on one platform.

The Foba Y-Series offers two scan head tunings: High-S for higher marking speeds, and High-Q for higher marking quality. Furthermore, the High-R (resolution) marking field calibration offers accurate mark positioning and a substantial reduction of marking field distortion, says Foba.
