Floyd Automatic unveils Applitec saw range

Floyd Automatic Tooling has launched the Applitec range of carbide circular saw blades for machine tool operations such as slotting, grooving and cutting.

Manufactured to DIN1837 specifications, the 1101 Type slitting saws are produced from solid carbide and offer a feed per tooth from 0.005 to 0.05 mm. This series has a tight tooth pitch that provides an internal H7 diameter range from 5 to 32 mm with an external cutting diameter of 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100, 125 or 160 mm. Each blade diameter is available with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 mm in 0.05 mm increments, 0.5 to 2 mm in 0.1 mm increments, and 2 to 6 mm in 0.5 mm steps. For deep machining or long slot production, Floyd is also introducing the 1102 Series, along with the 1103 Series for intricate slotting.
