Faro unveils CAM2 Measure 10.3 metrology software
Faro Technologies, a specialist in 3D measurement, imaging and realisation technology, has released CAM2 Measure 10.3, the company's latest software for the FaroArm, Faro ScanArm and Faro Laser Tracker.
CAM2 Measure 10.3 is said to fulfil customer requirements for a single, intuitive solution for tactile measurement, scanning and point cloud management. Applications include CAD-to-part analysis and the inspection of free and complex forms, and even soft or flexible materials that are difficult to inspect with a tactile system.
Feature enhancements include Cross Section Analysis, Point Cloud Registration, Deviation Markers and the improved Live Colour Scan. These capabilities are said to simplify and accelerate the measurement process by guiding operators through probing and scanning activities.
