LMT’s EVOLine axial thread-rolling head is based on a newly developed modular design that makes it suitable for a variety of machine tools with its simple adaptor system. Furthermore, the shank adaptor is said to improve concentricity and support the transmission of high torque levels.

Other features of EVOLine include a chip guard to protect the threading system from swarf ingress during machining processes, while, to ensure precision levels are beyond that of alternate systems, the device has a patented fine adjustment mechanism that allows the operator to impart adjustment within 0.01 mm.

The new generation of EVOline axial rolling heads is available in the following models:

• F1 EVO for M6-M10 threads

• F2 EVO for M8-M16 threads

• F3 EVO for M12-M22 threads
