ESAB designs Columbus III software for easy programming of cutting, labelling and marking
Columbus III is ESAB Cutting Systems' latest software designed to make it easy to program cutting, labelling and marking processes. Intelligent wizards provide intuitive operation so users can perform simple and highly complex cuts, labelling and nesting jobs quickly and easily.
Network compatible, ESAB's Columbus III has been developed with user-friendly, standard interfaces for connection to a company's IT system. For example, users can work with the familiar Explorer view from a PC to navigate through data and objects. New layouts can be compiled with just a few clicks and the need for training is greatly reduced.
Columbus III is a modular system and can be extended to meet future requirements. The basic package includes the Layout Designer which contains all the functions required to generate a nesting and cutting program for perpendicular cutting. This basic package can be upgraded and adapted to meet specific requirements.
