E-Vent Plasma Cutting for the sheet metal and HVAC industries
The E-Vent plasma machine, from ESAB Cutting Systems, is particularly suited to the sheet metal industry, utilising either an ESP 101 Plasmarc or the Powercut 1300 power source to plasma cut steel blanks from 0.75 to 20.00 mm thick.
The Powercut 1300 power source is designed specifically for material up to 3 mm thick, typically used for ductwork and pipeline construction.
E-Vent has a fast positioning speed of 30 m/min when processing sheet steel.
A "blank hold down" feature is incorporated into the ESAB PT-37 cutting torch and offers protection from collision damage and dirt. With the blank pressed down, the constant distance between it and the torch creates precise cuts.
The E-Vent machines can be easily integrated into a production environment, with cutting table grids individually configurable in a lateral or longitudinal direction.
