The company says that version 10.3 includes a newly-developed ‘Solidify’ command to prepare even the most difficult architectural files for 3D printing using a ‘shrink wrap’ method. Also added is a ‘Support Structure’ command and 3D nesting.
3Data Expert is DeskArtes’ flagship solution for creating and manipulating faceted models. Commands include surface triangulation, STL verification and repair, STL offsetting, splitting, connecting, decimation and smoothing, as well as model painting and texturing.
The Dimensions Expert and 3Data Expert Lite modules include the most frequently needed tools for everyday data processing, like 3D model splitting, connecting and 3D text tagging. DeskArtes Sim Expert 3D is targeted at users of simulation software products, while View Expert is a no-cost solution for checking and repairing 3D models.
