Cutwel introduces Korloy KGT four-point clamping grooving system
West Yorkshire-based tool supplier Cutwel is offering the Korloy KGT series grooving system which employs four point clamping for stability. It is suitable for internal or external grooving for round or flat applications.
The KGT's high force four point clamping and self-centring design, developed by South Korean tool manufacturer Korloy, provides rigidity for stable, accurate and reliable machining. Updated anti-chatter design geometry inserts also support good surface finish.
As well as internal and external holders with flat or radius inserts for all kinds of materials, the KGT series can perform parting, grooving, turning, copying (profiling) and relief grooving.
