Creaform releases version 2.0 of Pipecheck
Portable 3D measurement solutions company Creaform has released version 2.0 of its Pipecheck pipeline integrity assessment software. The software was developed for pipeline mechanical damage analysis and release 2.0 provides improved functions in respect of dents.
These include: radius measurement; maximum depth using straight edge technique in both directions; automatic creation of 2D cross-sections in both directions at maximum depth; 3D and 2D colour mapping of damaged area; visualisation tool to increase dent shape understanding; depth to diameter ratio; and multiple dent analysis.
Using a Handyscan 3D laser scanner, instant results can be generated on site and directly output in Excel format.
