Clamps cutting tool in mounting taper

The extremely short Tendo-ES clamps the cutting tool directly in the mounting taper which means it is supported via the spindle, giving the end user additional space in the machining area. An L1 dimension of 26 mm results in exceptional rigidity and the highest holding forces for transferable high torques. Run-out accuracy is less than 0.003 mm and the Tendo-ES also gives excellent vibration dampening qualities. Tools can be changed in seconds with an allen key to simplify use and reduce machine downtime. The Tendo-ES is perfectly suitable for powerful rough machining applications as well as drilling, reaming, tapping, thread milling and thread forming operations. Complete flexibility is ensured via the use of intermediate sleeves. The Tendo-ES will be available with an SK 40 interface that has a clamping diameter of 20 mm with intermediate sleeves ranging from 3 to 20 mm with a balancing grade of G2.5 at 25,000 rpm.
