The ribbon bar is said to be highly customisable, but to ease the transition for existing users, a ‘Vericut classic’ setting organises all of the menus and options where users previously found them. Several other layout options are included and can be selected depending on the task at hand.
Vericut can also now read 3D solid model data from cutting tool manufacturers such as Sandvik Coromant, Kennametal and Iscar, and use this in the simulation process. In addition, there are enhancements relating to consolidated reporting features and graphical toolpath analysis.
