BLM adds entry-level fibre source LT5 to its Lasertube family
The LT5, equipped with fibre source, is the latest addition to the BLM Group's Lasertube family. It is designed for cutting small thickness tubes in a wide range of materials. Loading, cutting and unloading are carried out in fully automatic mode for continuous and unmanned use.
The LT5 machine is designed to cut bars up to 6 mm thick, stainless steel up to 4 mm thick, aluminium and brass up to 3 mm thick and copper up to 2 mm thick. It is the smallest in Lasertube range and all the devices are accommodated within the machine area for easy access from any side.
BLM believes the absence of source maintenance, reduced power consumption and low operating and investment costs will make the LT5 the attractive to first-time laser technology users and for those wishing to increase their production capacity.
