Ballscrew measurement from Bowers gauge
Bowers' XT Xtreme Bore Gauge is able to accurately measure the diameter, from 10 mm to 300 mm, of the helix grooves in internal ballscrew components.
The inaccessible, yet precise nature of ballscrew internal grooves, has rendered them extremely difficult to measure. Bowers is able to accurately manufacture measuring heads matching the precise geometry of any given ballscrew, groove depth and helix.
The measuring heads are attached to the XT Xtreme Digital Bore Gauge allowing accurate and repeatable measuring results.
XT Xtreme Digital Gauges are IP65 rated, rendering them resistant to coolant, water and airborne particles.
Inspection data is viewed on a large, clear digital display with metric/imperial conversion and a RS232 output is available for data transfer.
