ANCA aims lower cost MX5 tool and cutter grinder at wider market
ANCA's MX5 tool and cutter grinder incorporates the most important features of the ANCA MX platform, but a reduction in the number of wheel packs offered, from 6 to 2, has resulted in a machine at a price likely to attract a greater number of potential customers.
ANCA says the MX5 is able to satisfy the needs of high volume tool and cutter manufacturers while having the flexibility for the production of mixed batches. It also has the inherent stability and high power that will suit endmill manufacturers.
In common with ANCA's premium MX7model, the MX5 is applicable to a wide range of other tool grinding applications, including the precise manufacture of medical components.
