The machine features a 2 kW fibre laser and electric servo-direct drive punch mechanism, along with synchronised control of the laser and punch axes.
The machine, which is designed to offer manufacturers the opportunity to extend their process range into the cutting of materials such as copper, brass and titanium, includes forming and tapping functions, as well as a flexible table design. Another notable feature is the inclusion of Amada's Eco Cut technology that supports reduced power consumption.
