AliconaInspect module facilitates GD&T measurements
A new standard Alicona measurement module has been designed to provide GD&T measurements for detailed verification of critical dimensions. The audit and evaluation software module measures deviations from an ideal form and allows immediate error correction when defects occur in production.
AliconaInspect is 3D inspection software for the evaluation of surface geometries and the automation of measurement processes. Users analyse surfaces by using sections, surface comparisons or GD&T in accordance with ISO 1101 and ASME Y14.5. Importantly, trend analyses show how dimensions change in production and allow statistical process control, while user-defined measurement reports enable an individual compilation of documentation including snapshots, images, charts and texts.<
