Users have a choice of Fagor 8037 or Siemens 808D CNC, which are fully conversational to guide the user through the programming process step by step. The control units enable the customer to conduct everything from straight, taper and profile turning, through to screwcutting and other more challenging tasks that can all be generated through full ISO programming, if desired. The machine offers a swing over the bed of 402 mm and can be supplied in 750 or 1,000 mm between-centre versions.
Standard features include a coolant system, automatic bed-way lubrication, electronic handwheels for the X and Z axes, an AC spindle motor with AC feed drives and motors, a four-way automatic toolpost, interlocking guarding and a chip collection system.
