3D non-contact measurement of large parts

Taylor Hobson's new CCI XL with 40 mm LWD lens delivers high resolution measurement of large components without compromise, says the company.

Suitable for parts up to 200 mm high, with industry leading bench-top performance, deep bore analysis is now possible, using the 40 mm LWD objective lens. A high speed measurement option is available, while AutoStitch and Multi-site measurement offers ease of use and flexibility. The system offers industry-leading data quality via next-generation interferometry. For example: up to 2,048 by 2,048 pixels for high resolution and large FOV; <0.2 Angstrom RMS repeatability, <0.1% step height repeatability; integrated anti-vibration for optimum noise performance; plus single measurement mode for data you can trust. Taylor Hobson also emphasises the unit's robust design that ensures low cost of ownership. The system, which can offer other Z heights and working distances on request, is suitable for: crankshafts, camshafts, structured surfaces, fluid retention (bearing ratio), bearing surfaces, medical implants, textured steel, material research, coatings, plus brake discs and pads.
