The cashback deal, which can involve any of the 14,000 or so ProtoTRAK CNC installations in the UK made since 1993, could be set against the purchase of any of the ProtoTRAK EMX and SMX turret mills, as well as the SMX bed mills and award winning
LPM high productivity machining system (See also

The ProTURN range of SLX lathes is also included, which span small training machines right up to turning machines having up to a 560 mm swing and 3,000 mm between centres.
Says managing director Nigel Atherton: "There are thousands of XYZ ProtoTRAK CNC machines out there that have given sterling service and this £5,000 cash inducement, plus latest changes to Government's Annual Investment Allowances, can create the ideal opportunity to upgrade equipment, improve productivity and have the advantage of a new fully warranted machine on the shopfloor."
The budget announcement on Annual Investment Allowances will give up to 100% against a qualifying purchase up to £250,000, which could save the investing company up to £50,000 on taxable profits when a company year-end is up to 31 December 2014. (See also
