XYZ Machine Tools expands Polish sales resources to capitalise on "great potential"

Following the recent announcement of Marcin Drozd as its first area sales manager in Poland, XYZ Machine Tools has followed that up with a second appointment, bringing in machine tool specialist Marcin Binkowski, who will be responsible for direct sales in the south and east of Poland.

With over 10 years’ experience in the machine tool industry, Binkowski’s appointment complements the work that Drozd has been involved with across the country and will enhance the sales support in a market, seen as one with great potential for XYZ Machine Tools’ product range, particularly the ProtoTRAK-controlled mills and lathes.

Says Howard Bamforth, export sales director, XYZ Machine Tools: “Poland will play a significant part in our growth across mainland Europe. To capitalise on the strong potential of the market in Poland we see direct sales as the route to take. By having XYZ employees on the ground we are better placed to highlight the unique benefits that the ProtoTRAK control system can deliver to customers. The success of this initiative started last year with Marcin Drozd has confirmed this.”

As part of the marketing strategy in Poland, XYZ has recently attended the Innoform Exhibition and, will be present at the upcoming three-day STOM-TOOL exhibition for metalworking and metal machining in Kielce on the 22-24 September, along with the Toolex 2020 exhibition from the 29 September to 1 October in Sosnowiec. “We are making substantial investment in the Polish market and this additional sales resource will be backed technical support and service personnel to replicate the customer experience that we provide in the UK.”
