Wenzel expands US operation
Wenzel officially opened its new 24,000 ft2 North American headquarters and manufacturing facility in Wixom, Michigan, USA in October.
“The new plant in Wixom becomes our third worldwide manufacturing centre and marks a decisive stage in our global growth strategy,”explained Frank Wenzel, managing director of Wenzel.
The plant will make bridge-stype CMMs and also houses the recently acquired CMM remanufacturing operations of Xspect Solutions, now called Wenzel Xspect Solutions. Xspect Solutions already used Wenzel CMM components and controls as part of its business activity.
