Walter and Gildemeister offer combined solutions through partnership

Tooling specialist, Walter GB, and machine tool specialist, Gildemeister, are to offer purchasers, of DMG machines, a one-stop machining solution, based on the provision of Walter tool boxes, tailored to the materials and components to be machined.
The partnership relates to buyers of DMG DMF, DMC V and DMU 60-160 P duoBlock milling and machining centres, and it uses Walter's application expertise, as well as, the company's range of innovative tooling solutions.

Walter offers single-source complete tooling solutions for high-productivity machining via its brands: Walter (carbide and PCD insert tooling systems for turning, drilling and milling), Walter Titex (HSS-E and solid carbide drilling and reaming), Walter Prototyp (HSS-E and solid carbide thread generation and milling) and Walter Valenite (indexable inserts as well as 'specials').
Gildemeister is a global manufacturer of machining tools and, in addition to its core competences in turning and milling, also offers Lasertec laser cutting machines and the Ultrasonic range for machining advanced materials.
