Vero Software appoints Alphacam area sales manager for the Midlands

Having originally worked with Alphacam as a user – he brought the software into a number of engineering companies, including Lucas Aerospace – then as an application engineer, and finally in sales, Martin says it is instrumental in helping manufacturers take their business to the next level. "I truly believe Alphacam is the best CAM product in the world. The flexible API means it's open to customisation and that allows the user to do anything they need with it, and it's so easy to use." He adds that the market is relatively buoyant: "Manufacturers are investing with CAM technology to ensure they extract the very best out of their machines. Alphacam scores heavily, because it provides the ability to automate manufacturing tasks and dramatically reduce programming time." Mr Measures began his career as an apprentice toolmaker, before moving into machine shop and production roles.
