As part of its continued expansion in China, Vero International Software has relocated to larger offices in Shanghai.

“Starting from scratch in April 2005 we have had a very promising first year in China," said Richard Youhill, sales director for Vero International Software. "The establishment of the training centre in Guangdong earlier this year and the move to the new larger offices will provide the platform for future expansion in this territory. We have already seen a number of high profile companies investing in our products and gaining significant increases in both productivity and quality. We are looking forward to growing the customer base over the coming years”. Vero established a direct office in China in 2005. Since that time it has gained many large customers including Foxconn, the world’s largest sub-contract manufacturer of electronic components, employing over 300,000 people. Foxconn now have more than 300 licenses of Vero’s machining STRATEGIST and VISI-Series installed at a number of locations. The software is primarily used for the creation of toolpaths on the shop floor for the mould and die divisions. Other notable new Chinese customers include Mitac, UTX and Zhu Wei. The new office, which is located in the popular Lu Wan district, provides additional space to accommodate the new personnel recently added to both the technical support and development groups as well as improved facilities for customer training and demonstration. The new offices, along with the training centre in Guangdong in the south of China further enhance the services provided by Vero to its customers in China and Taiwan.
