Onshape is a cloud-based CAD package from MecSoft Corporation, which is headquartered in Irvine, California. VisualCAMc leverages MecSoft’s Windows desktop CAM software VisualCAM.
Headquartered in Sheffield, MachineWorks software is a development toolkit used by manufacturers looking to simulate any type of CNC machining and check for clashes and gouges in the full machining environment.
More than 60% of CAM developers in the world have integrated MachineWorks software, it is integrated not only into CAM applications but also into stand-alone verification applications and controller-based applications, including collision avoidance systems.
For VisualCAMc, MachineWorks’ cloud-based libraries are incorporated, with server-run simulations displayed on one or more remote clients.
