Based in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, TTL supplies its CADCAM and machining technology, including industry-leading CAM software, to a range of sectors including automotive, aerospace and pharmaceuticals. It also supplies complex gearbox, suspension and aerodynamic components to Formula One. Says MTC chief executive Dr Clive Hickman: "TTL has worked with companies who are already members of the MTC. The company has an excellent reputation, particularly in the automation of gas turbine manufacturing, and the expertise it brings will be an asset to the MTC." Speaking for TTL, Rob Pope, managing director, offers: "We have been at the forefront of CNC machining technology for many years and are proud and delighted to be part of the Manufacturing Technology Centre community." The MTC opened in 2011 and was founded by the University of Birmingham, Loughborough University, the University of Nottingham and TWI Ltd.
