Trumpf smartphone app has press brake bending knowledge
Trumpf has unveiled a smartphone/tablet app for the easy calculation of bending parameters for its TruBend press brakes.
Called BendGuide, the app also provides access to current brochures and any Trumpf news concerning bending.
BendGuide has been introduced in six languages and is available free of charge from Apple and Android app stores. It can also be downloaded for use on a PC.
This new app enables the user to calculate the most important bending parameters. These include press force, nesting height, side length, die width, installation height mounting, bending inner radius, sheet thickness, tool and sheet weight, while changing from metric to Imperial measurement is easy via the settings menu.
