Trumpf acquires Dutch agent

Trumpf has acquired all shares in its long-term Dutch sales partner Möller Metaal BV.

This step is part of Trumpf's 'internationalisation strategy': to have subsidiaries operating in specific markets to be closer to its customers. The new subsidiary will operate under the name Trumpf Nederland BV. The company is to remain at its current location in Hengelo and continue to employ about 40 people. Möller Metal has been a Trumpf partner company since 1953. The company’s focus was machine tool sales and marketing, with laser sales directly through Trumpf. With the integration of Möller Metaal, this will change, however.
