Total UK will use MACH 2020 (Birmingham NEC, 20-24 April) to showcase its metalworking lubrication products that are designed to extend tool lifetime, enhance productivity, and improve health and safety.

Among the products, Total will highlight is its latest metalworking fluid Total Folia. Based on bio-sourced polymers, and free from oils and solvents of any kind, Total Folia is said to offer high performance and versatility, coupled with health and safety benefits. Introduced to the UK market in 2019, the fluid won the health and safety category at the inaugural Maintenance & Engineering Awards.

Containing fewer hazardous components than conventional metalworking fluids and creating no fumes, Total Folia is already supporting many businesses with regulatory compliance.

Valona MS 7023 HC, which is part of the Valona HC range of neat cutting oils, is optimised for stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. The oil’s low volatility and high resistance to oxidisation reduces misting and oil consumption due to evaporation, while extending tool lifetime.

Meeting the ISO/TS 12927 MHF standard, Valona MS 7023 HC has been formulated to deliver improved reliability, operating time, and health and safety performance, while reducing oil consumption and operating cost.

Spirit 5000 is a newly developed soluble cutting oil optimised for general machining and grinding. The oil has been designed for use on cast iron, steels and aluminium, offering more bio-stability for longer sump life. Spirit 7000 is an improved fluid for demanding operations, offering technical properties for heavy machining and hard metals.

Visitors to the stand can also learn more about Anac Indus, Total’s oil analysis service that utilises diagnostic and preventative information to help identify and prevent machinery health issues, and TIG 6, the company’s optimised maintenance software for managing industrial lubricants.

Total UK will be located on Stand 6-634.
