This significant investment by TLM Laser will double the size of the company’s existing Bromsgrove facility. Half of the new area will allow the expansion of office space, with the remaining floorspace being configured as dual purpose.
This will allow TLM to use the different laser technologies which will be located in this area either for customer trials and demonstrations, or to meet the increasing demand seen by the company for laser job shop work.
TLM director Andy Toms said: “This investment in our facility is just one part of our planned growth strategy and will allow us to not only continue to expand the technologies and services which we offer to our customers across the UK and Ireland, but also provide the space to support the recruitment needed to keep pace with our expansion.“
The company has also announced the recent recruitment of Tom Kerrigan as marketing executive (pictured below), enabling the strategic coordination of all marketing activities, both in-house and out-sourced, to further support the company’s expansion within existing and new markets.
TLM has also recruited its first apprentice, Sam Burns, who will also make a valuable contribution to the business as he progresses through a structured programme of practical hands-on and academic learning.
TLM has built up a comprehensive portfolio of laser processing technologies. These are supported by ancillary equipment ranging from laser safety eyewear, extraction systems and right through to complete laser safe enclosures, designed and built around the specific application.
Add to this the company’s hard-won expertise in applying lasers for cutting, welding, marking, and cleaning applications and potential users of laser technology can leverage from a truly holistic approach to laser system integration.
