With its products available in the UK from Hall Holmes & Co, Reime was established in Nuremberg in 1915 during WWI by Ernst Reime, with the company relocating several times around the southern German city, settling in Feucht in 2001.
Ernst Reime presented his tools on the Leipzig fair for the first time in the year 1919. In the same year, the company became a member of the DPV (German precision tools association), a predecessor of the VDMA. In 1928, Ernst Reime acquired the first thread and spiral groove winding machines from Lindner in order to produce high-precise ground taps.
In particular, Bieber pointed out that Ernst Reime 1936 had applied for a patent for the “NORIS Innenspan” and the “NORIS Stabil” tap and exhibited these on the occasion of the Leipzig spring fair. Bieber said: “These tools were constantly further developed and are still part of the product range of REIME NORIS today.”
A variety of other innovative threading tools, such as the Noris Salorex (1957), the Noris Uni (1988), the thread milling system NES (1996) were developed over the years and successfully introduced to the market.
The company has been certified according to ISO 9001 since 2005 and introduced SAP in the year 2014. Today, the company's products are distributed in over 40 countries.
“The corporate motto 'Our precision is your success' will continue to be a great challenge for the company in the future as well, and it can only be mastered with highly qualified and motivated employees,” said Bieber.
