Theorem Solutions launches app to experience engineering design data in a mixed reality environment

1 min read

A visualisation application for the Microsoft HoloLens that allows users to experience engineering and manufacturing design data in a mixed reality (MR) environment has been officially launched by UK-based Theorem Solutions.

The Visualization Experience gives users access to a number of different sets of engineering data supplied by Theorem, that can be used to test the ‘experience’ in the MR realm and see how the technology can suit a number of different use cases.

The Visualization Experience App can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft App store, and only requires a few details for validation. The user will then receive an email that needs to be responded to so they can unlock a free 90 day trial.

Users also have the option to upgrade to a full subscription license, which will enable them to load their own engineering and manufacturing CAD and PLM data where it is automatically optimized for use in the HoloLens.

Theorem’s Experience Server then streams the data to the device allowing the user to interact and engage with their data.
