Tempil re-launched in the UK

LA-CO will be making an impression in the Welding Village at MACH 2014 (Birmingham NEC, 7-11 April), as it uses the exhibition to officially re-launch the Tempil brand to the UK market.

Tempil products will be displayed by Brian Hyde Ltd on Stands 4921c and 4921f, Hall 4. Acquired by LA-CO Industries last year, Tempil is perhaps best known for its TempilStick temperature indicators. TempilSticks are easy to use, with no gauges or electronics and no calibration required. Simply touch the heated surface with the TempilStick and it will melt, making a distinct mark once the surface reaches the rated temperature. Available in over 100 temperature ratings from 100-200°F (37-93°C), TempilSticks are said to be precise even for the most critical jobs, and meet the preheat temperature requirements of AWS D1.1 and other welding code specifications. Also being showcased in the Welding Village from the Tempil brand will be temperature indicating labels. According to LA-CO, the brand's Tempilabel and Thermax temperature indicating labels are designed to deliver consistent and accurate temperature readings in a variety of applications and environments. Featuring an easy-to use adhesive backing, the labels can be fixed to any surface and are available in a range of designs to meet specific measurement requirements. The company will also feature the latest markers from Markal. Particular highlights at this year's show will be Markal valve action paint markers and Thermomelt Heat Stik markers, both of which help to make light work of the welding process, says LA-CO.
