Technifor's marking solutions to be shown at MACH 2010

1 min read

Technifor will demonstrate the latest examples of its full range of micro-percussion, scribe and laser marking equipment in Hall 4, stand 4541, at MACH 2010. Micro-percussion machines being demonstrated include the new generation XF510p and the Propen P5000.

The XF510p is compact, and offers fast marking on areas from 50 by 20 mm, up to 200 by 80 mm. The P5000 can mark up to 5 characters per second, within a 100 mm by 120 mm area, with character size adjustable from 0.5 to 80 mm. Able to mark parts up to 300 mm high, the P5000 can mark all types of materials up to a hardness of 62 HRc. Portable marking solutions will also feature with the M120 and XF520Cp. The M120's is particularly suited for identifying fixed assets, preventing counterfeiting, tracing bulky parts or for the indelible registration of products on leasing contracts. Weighing 2.7 kg, the XF520Cp is lightweight and, with dimensions of 133 mm long by 179 mm wide by 94 mm high, can mark normally hard to reach locations, at speeds up to 10 characters per second, in a marking area of 50 mm by 20 mm, With a large marking area of 200 mm by 50 mm, the XF530p can mark flat, angular and radial material, up to a depth of 0.4 mm. It has been designed specifically for industry sectors that require deep marking of parts or to mark material, deep enough, to clearly show through surface finishing processes, such as, painting, zinc plating or shot blasting. Scribe marking technology is an almost silent process making it particularly suited for industrial applications with sound constraints. Marking up to 5 characters per second it can be used to mark all types of materials. Laser marking will be represented by the recently launched TF420. It has a marking power of up to 20 W, at speeds up to 2.5 m/sec Technifor's marking solutions can be integrated into continuous production lines generating serial numbers, logos, DataMatrix codes and so on, or they can be used as portable marking systems. With over 35,000 machines installed worldwide, Technifor's wide range of equipment and expertise means they have a solution for every marking application.
