System 3R expands sales force

Based in Newton Abbott, Devon, he will cover an area that includes Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, Gloucestershire and South Wales. Mr Lee has a solid engineering background, having received an engineering degree (B.Eng.) from Exeter University, he was previously in a regional sales role with Machine Building Systems, which provides aluminium extrusions for the aerospace, automotive and special-purpose machine building sectors of industry. Prior to that, his first job after leaving University was as a production engineer with Alcoa Howmet, primarily supplying superalloy, aluminium and titanium castings to the aerospace and power generation industries. “ There is a tremendous cross-over of customers from my previous job where CNC machining was the prime process. This has helped me to not only quickly understand the technology and customer benefits of the System 3R range of products, but also to gain new business from previous contacts, ” said Mr Lee. “ Because of the current economic climate, I am relishing the challenge of convincing customers that a sound investment in System 3R technology will save them money by improving the productivity of their existing machines through enhanced utilisation.”
