Returning for the second year in a row, the Manufacturing Solutions Show Awards celebrate the best and brightest in the manufacturing industry, shining a well-earned light on the significant innovations and contributions to the sector.
After much deliberation from its judges, the nominees are as follows:
- Start-up of the Year - Output.industries, FourJaw Manufacturing Analytics, Co Print 3D, Buckingham Magnetics.
- UK Manufacturing Partner of the Year – Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), UK Electronics (UK:E) Limited, DJ Assembly, Sertec, JC Metalworks.
- International Partner of the Year – Sahasra Electronics, China Tech Solutions, GDO Precision, Karthigeya Drive and Components Pvt Ltd.
- Product Innovation of the Year – Busroot by Output.industries, Slamcore Aware, nBIM by nCircle Tech, xGenBI by UXLI Limited
- Outstanding Industry Contribution – SheCanEngineer; Andrea Wilson, Director at Hone-All Precision Limited; Steve Proverbs, MD of Salzer UK Ltd; Halil Bedevi, Manufacturing Consultant, Manufacturing IQ; Frédéric Kayrouz, Group Head of Business Development (EMS), Design, Electronics, Regulatory Compliance & Manufacture, UK Electronics.
These awards spotlight the organisations and individuals driving measurable impact across the industry, from start-ups disrupting the norm, to long-standing contributors shaping the future. Winners are selected by a hand-picked panel of industry luminaries:
- Andy Sandford – Editor, Engineering Capacity.
- David Tomalin – Delivery Manager, Strategic Key Accounts, West Midlands Combined Authority.
- Dean Munkley – Membership Manager, Qimtek.
- Ellie McCann – Editor, Machinery.
- John Excell – Editor, The Engineer.
- Mercedes Maroto-Valer - Research, and Innovation Centre (IDRIC), and Deputy Principal (Global Sustainability) and Director of the Research Centre for Carbon Solutions (RCCS), Heriot-Watt University.
- Muftooh Siddiqi – Senior Lecturer in Manufacturing, Aston University.
- Nandini Chakravorti – Associate Director, Digital Engineering Group, Manufacturing Technology Centre.
- Paul Fanning - Editor, Manufacturing Management.
- Sam Turner – Chief Executive Office, Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC).
- Sarah Black-Smith - General Manager Motion Control and Sustainability Lead, Siemens Digital Industries.
- Stephanie Morton - Strategic Trends Manager, Advanced Propulsion Centre.
In a statement, David Tomalin, Delivery Manager, Strategic Key Accounts for the West Midlands Combined Authority, said: "It has been my pleasure to once again be part of the Manufacturing Solutions Show Awards judging panel and this year’s entries have made the job a heck of a lot harder!

The winners will be announced on stage in the Manufacturing Insights Theatre at Subcon 2025, taking place on June 5 at 1:00pm.
