ALPHR supplies machinery for automation & testing to leading manufacturers across the automotive, medical, HVAC, aerospace, electronics, industrial and transportation sectors.

The company's machines are used by several OEMs like Jaguar Land Rover, Stellantis, Rolls Royce & others to automate & test their products.

The partnership sees ALPHR adopt Siemens technology across its specialist machinery and advanced robotics systems, which will help streamline and standardise digital operating systems for customers, making them simpler and quicker to implement.

Facilitated by manufacturing technology distributor Underwoods, the deal also helps ALPHR to digitise its own production. It will design and build its bespoke machinery on Siemens programmes, enabling modules and templates to be saved and reused in other designs. This removes the need to start repeat designs from scratch, helping ALPHR to speed up production to meet customer demand.

ALPHR’s engineers across its bases in Letchworth, Romania and Mexico will also be able to deepen their skills with digitalised operating interfaces, with regular training provided by Siemens under the agreement.

Oliver Gibbs, OEM account manager at Siemens, said: “Automation in manufacturing continues to represent a huge opportunity that will enable the sector to enhance productivity and operate more sustainability – ultimately making companies more competitive and resilient. But automation can also be a complex field, which is overcome by organisations working together to ensure it is successfully integrated into customers’ operations.

“ALPHR works with major players in manufacturing and this agreement is a further step forward for the sector’s use of technology to automate - enabling engineers to spend less time learning disparate operating systems, and more time advancing their production capabilities.”

Iqbal Kazi, group managing director at ALPHR, said: “Adopting Siemens technology will help us to enable more customers to take advantage of digitised machinery for automating & testing processes.

“As part of Indutrade, an international technology and industrial business group consisting of more than 200 companies worldwide, ALPHR is committed to staying at the cutting edge of technology, ensuring efficiency and competitiveness for businesses globally.”
