Sodi-Tech expands applications support team

Based at the company's HQ in Baginton, Conor (pictured) will be looking after customers across the UK, helping them maximise the benefits of their Sodick wire machines and also providing training and demonstrations, both at Sodi-Tech and at customers' premises. In addition to his EDM skills, Conor also has extensive experience in the use of both 2D and 3D CAD systems. His interest in pursuing engineering as a career was first sparked while he helped his father restore cars in his spare time - his own hobbies include a keen interest in Rugby Union. Sodi-Tech managing director Peter Capp says: "Our applications engineers are a vital part of our support organisation and are highly valued by our customers for their in-depth, hands-on EDM knowledge. Conor has already demonstrated his expertise and commitment and I am confident he will prove to be an asset to our team."
