Six manufacturing pioneers sought to receive £1 million of funding each

The Government is offering £1 million of funding and up to five years support to researchers who have the potential to be future manufacturing research leaders in their field.

The Fellowships will support academics who have recently moved from industry, or people in industry, involved in innovation, looking to move into academia. Each Fellow will lead a £1 million programme of research. The six exceptional engineers and technology specialists will be selected with an aim to bridge university and industrial cultures to potentially transform UK research and manufacturing. The £6 million programme will be funded by the EPSRC.
