1 min read

Seiki Systems will be exhibiting its full range of modular manufacturing execution software (MES) for the first time at AeroEngineering 2011, 9-10 November, NEC Birmingham, in hall 20 on stand 1213.

In addition to featuring the latest software, Seiki will be showing its full solution offering, which includes ERP for order processing, graphical real time scheduling, SFDC, resource monitoring and DNC. Reducing waste and increasing efficiency has become more critical, as everyone is more keenly aware of the need to be cost competitive and the pressure to deliver on time in the current market. The most effective implementations of Seiki MES solutions typically combine scheduling to address on-time delivery performance and machine monitoring/shopfloor data collection to improve the productivity of existing resources. With an increasingly strong focus on what is happening on the shopfloor as a means to extracting the most from existing resources, this holistic approach ensures that data from shopfloor can contribute directly to the effective planning and management of the production facilities. It's not necessarily enough just to plan jobs accurately; companies want to address the entire works order process, from top floor to shop floor, which is where Seiki can help. The Seiki team will be available to offer specialist advice to manufacturers looking to improve their manufacturing processes and overall business efficiency.
