Seco Tools (UK)'s 2015 ‘Inspiration through Innovation’ advanced manufacturing best-practice event will take place on 23-24 September.

Following the success of last September's 'Inspiration through Innovation' advanced manufacturing best-practice event, machining solutions supplier Seco Tools UK is now planning a follow-on event that will be even bigger and better than last year's.

The event will take place at Seco's Technology Centre in Alcester. More than 30 of the company's technical partners are involved, including machine builders DMG Mori, ETG, Fanuc, Geo. Kingsbury, GF Machining Solutions, Heller and Mills CNC among others. They will be showcasing and demonstrating their latest products and technologies to visitors.

The event also hosts a series of demonstrations, including of its new Duratomic insert technology launched in April 2015.

Building on the success of last year's show, the event also includes a series of best-practice seminars (eight in total), covering a range of contemporary manufacturing topics and issues. These include: the most effective and cost-efficient methods of machining titanium, nickel-based alloys and stainless steels, plus specific seminars on component manufacturing for the automotive sector, and advanced roughing strategies.

The event is free to visitors, and doors open on both days at 9:30 am – closing at 7:30 pm on 23 September and 5:00 pm on 24 September.

Says Richard Jelfs, Seco's managing director: "If you're looking for innovation, inspiration...or both – we'll no doubt see you at the show."
