Seco Open House promises something different

1 min read

Seco Tools (UK) will hold an Open House (@Seco Live) at its new Technology Centre in Alcester on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 April, 09:00 to 17:00 each day.

The customer-focused event, one of the company's first since it moved to its new, state-of-the-art facility in late 2012, is aimed at precision component manufacturers looking to improve their productivity, performance and profitability, and will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to bring themselves 'up to speed' with the latest technology developments, not only from Seco, but also from a number of the company's technical partners that are also exhibiting at the Open House. Says Seco's managing director, Richard Jelfs: "Manufacturing is tough. And it's getting tougher. So, even though many precision manufacturers are doing everything they can to increase their productivity...improve their quality...and control their costs, to ensure they remain competitive, we know it can be an uphill struggle, especially if they're trying to do everything alone. "Our Open House addresses this situation and demonstrates what can be achieved if, and when, we all pull together, and how we can make things different. "This Open House is a unique, world-class event. Because, as well as being able to find out more about our productivity- and performance-enhancing manufacturing solutions, we've also invited a number of hand-picked market-leading partners - machine tool manufacturers and workholding, cutting fluid, inspection and measurement, and CAD/CAM specialists - along to the event and who will demonstrate their latest innovative product and service developments too."
