Roemheld will showcase 10 hydraulic workholding elements and a range of 5-axis vices and jaws on stand 4110, at MACH 2010.

The hydraulic power workholding elements to be launched at the show include new ranges of compact clamps, swing clamps and work supports. Also new, the KC100 5-axis vice system offers a universal clamping solution for 5-axis machines and reduces material wastage with its ability to grip on only 3 mm, with a clamping force of up to 25 kN. The Roemheld stand will feature sector-led workholding applications including automotive, aerospace, medical, energy and subcontract manufacturing. This sector-led approach should make it easier for end users visiting the stand to identify which Roemheld products could be applied to their production to improve competitiveness. There will also be an area dedicated to fixture building and design. Roemheld personnel will be on hand to discuss individual applications and talk through applying the technology within a company. Free of charge demonstration products will also be available, so the end user can ''try before they buy'', at no cost to them. Roemheld will also be holding a seminar on Thursday 10th June, at 2pm, on how to "Future proof your workholding investment." This will consider how delegates can protect their investment in workholding by discussing planning strategies and best workholding practice, as well as, revealing a major step forward in reducing raw material costs.
