RK International praises MACH 2014 attendance as "sound business decision"

"A sound business decision" is how RK International Machine Tools describes its return to MACH after an almost 30-year absence, with the company reporting hard sales and lots of high level enquiries as a result of its presence across three stands at the exhibition.

Sales manager Simon Rood comments: "While we took firm orders for a number of machines at MACH, what was just as encouraging was how the ranges of Robbi and Delta grinding machines were received at the show. "The number of enquiries that we took for these machines was very high for machines across these ranges, with interest being shown in both conventional and CNC controlled machines. Visitors were particularly interested in the Robbi cyclindrical grinder that we had on our main stand, which featured the T6 PLC control and which highlights how the Robbi range has been accepted by the UK manufacturing fraternity. Similarly, the Delta Rotax and Elle series of rotary table surface grinders also proved to be an attraction." Aside from the main RK International Machine Tools stand, the company also gave the UK exhibition debut to the Europa Milltech fitted with Heidenhain TNC320, which was displayed in the Education and Training Zone of the exhibition. This, says RK International, proved to be "an instant hit with visitors from education and machine shop environments". RK International was also represented on the 600 Group stand, where the Colchester and Harrison lathe ranges continued to be a popular draw with show visitors, according to the company. "Having returned to MACH after an absence of many years, such a positive and confident response to the week-long event was encouraging and re-iterates the positive nature and attitude that RK International is seeing to the range of advance machining solutions that it offers."
