With increased demand for Radan's sheet metal software, the company, part of Planit Software, has appointed Peter Wordsworth, Carl Beebee and John Roche as sales executives, and Tony Moriarty has become a Radan systems engineer.
Having worked for Radan in various roles for 19 years, Mr Wordsworth is already well known to many customers through his most recent position in the Professional Services Team, producing bespoke software for customers with specific requirements, to improve their design and manufacturing while reducing costs. He originally joined Radan as a trainer, before becoming a senior application engineer.
Mr Beebee is also well known to many customers through his work as a Radan senior application engineer for 11 years. His technical knowledge covers the full product range, including AutoCAD Inventor, along with the estimate-to-invoice package e2i which he used extensively as a customer before joining Radan.
The third new sales executive, Mr Roche, who will look after Scotland and Ireland, comes with over 20 years of sheet metal experience, as well as working previously for Radan as a systems engineer.
Completing the new line-up is Mr Moriarty, who rejoins Radan as a systems engineer. He has extensive experience of working with Radan both in the UK and the USA. He left Radan to sell machine tools in his native Ireland, but continued to regularly endorse the Radan software.
The strengthening of the team comes after CIMDdata's comprehensive global report on the industry earlier this year placed the Planit group, overall, in the number one spot for marketshare on the basis of industrial seats installed in 2009, and in second place for industrial seats shipped. CIMdata forecast that Planit will retain both its number one and number two spots in 2010.
