The so-called 1-2-3 seminars, organised by FICEP UK, are the result of a partnership between FICEP, TEKLA and Steel Projects.
TEKLA Structures Software enables the production of accurate and data rich 3D models for structural steel architectural building. A 4D solution will also be explored at the seminars.
Steel Projects CAM Software imports parts and assemblies, stock control and machine production, resulting in tremendous time and cost savings.
FICEP claims the largest range of high performance CNC machines for structural steelwork processing, which can be equipped with a unique and patented fully automated scribing system. This marks the beam, component or plate with information that significantly reduces fabrication and construction times without any machine operator input. The production information is then processed so that fabrication and construction times can be precisely scheduled.
The productivity increases and reductions in production costs that are achievable with the 1-2-3 system are claimed as unprecedented within the structural steel and fabrication industry.
Demonstrations of the new system can be seen at the 1-2-3 Seminars being held at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, 5 May and Old Trafford Stadium on Wednesday 6 May.
