Visitors to Prima Power’s Coventry headquarters during its May Open House were able to witness live demonstrations of the Punch Genius with Compact Express and the Platino 2.0 Fiber, 6 kW laser cutting machine.

In addition to explaining the technical benefits of the machines on display, Prima Power’s team of engineers were able to provide details of the many commercial advantages that result from the use of the company’s technology.

Following the event, Prima Power’s general manager, sales, UK & Ireland, Daniel McGinty, says: “Prima Power UK’s recently-extended Coventry HQ allowed us to accommodate a wide cross section of our latest technologies, whilst our close proximity to the motorway network helped to ensure that we welcomed record numbers of visitors.”

“Throughout the course of the event we received a lot of extremely positive feedback. Although we anticipated existing customers verifying the performance of machines and placing orders at the Open House, I’m happy to report that new customers also placed orders for new machines.”

He adds that the company’s range of sheet metal fabrication machines and systems cover all aspects of sheet metal working, including laser cutting both flat and 3D, welding and drilling, punching, combined punch/shear, punch/laser, bending, automation, FMS, and software.

In addition, the company recently inaugurated a 5,000 m2 headquarters and technology demonstration centre showing 11 machines in Turin, Italy.
