At its recent annual dinner, the Machine Tools Technologies Association recognised two individuals for their ouststanding services to the Association.
MTA President Geoff Lloyd chose to honour MTA Technical Manager, Richard Griffiths and active MTA member Stephen Le Beau from 600 Group.
Richard Griffiths was chosen for the award in recognition of his continued support to members in his role as Technical Manager for the Association, a position he has held for almost 20 years. Announcing the award, Mr Lloyd said: “Richard works tirelessly to ensure that we provide technical support to our members that is second to none. He has served our members since 1988 and I would like to express my personal respect for his work and to thank him for his technical commitment to the MTA.”
The MTA acknowledged the work of 600 Group’s Stephen Le Beau, who has given his personal support to the Association via participation in committees, in particular the Exhibition Committee that oversees MACH. “Stephen has worked so enthusiastically at all levels promoting our association. He has been an exemplary member for over 20 years and I will not miss this opportunity to say thank you on behalf of the MTA for the example he has shown to manufacturing through his export work, forecasting meetings and MACH exhibition committee work,” said the MTA president.
