NT CADCAM opens office in Scotland

The office, based in the Stirling University Innovation Park, is staffed by regional sales manager Dale McQueen, who also manages an area, two area account managers and an applications specialist. The Scottish team is providing full local support, both in terms of pre and post sales activities, support, training etc. Additional facilities are offered by the Stirling University Innovation Park Hotel and Conference Centre, just a short 5 minute walk away through the complex's attractive grounds, which provides accommodation for anyone attending training courses. Mr McQueen underlined the 'Scottishness' of the set-up: "We felt it was important that we employed Scottish people to staff this new Scottish office. People do business with people, after all. Our message is simple: For SolidWorks in Scotland, the only sensible choice is NT CADCAM. We provide local support and training, backed up by the expertise of the entire organisation, which has years of experience of supplying and supporting SolidWorks." Neil McArthur, sales and marketing director added: "A mechanical engineer by profession, having worked at Cooper Cameron and Weir in his early career, Dale moved to Hewlett Packard to forge his career in sales, before joining PTC to sell Pro/ENGINEER for six years. He brings a wealth of engineering sales experience to NT, perfect to help establish and build our Scottish team." In the past, NT CADCAM has focused more on the English counties for business and this move to include Scotland is further evidence of its determination to expand the business into new territories, further increasing sales and building relationships with new customers. NT was awarded Elite Reseller Status in 2011, one of only 11 resellers from over 400 worldwide to receive it.
