Standard production includes vertical CNC machines able to hone up to 1,500 mm length, horizontal up to 10,000 mm length, with these being offered as CNC, manual or automatic machines controlled by a PLC that employs 'LPE' software developed by CAR. Tolerances of 0.002 mm and stock removal up to 1 mm are possible, with geometry precision of H7 standard and surface finishing <0.1 Ra other achievable parameters. The company also produce mandrels for all bore types, with diameter ranges from 3.80 mm to 1,560 mm. On to these are mounted abrasive and super abrasive stones, with silicon carbide, aluminium oxide, CBN and diamond held by resin or metal bond.
